Sales Manager - France & Southern Europe

Job description:
A very experienced Technical Sales Manager is required by the French ingredient division of this Global food group to cover France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. As a pioneer in confectionary and cereal ingredient technology, they are enjoying strong growth and stability across Europe. Their success has been driven by continued investment in their technical teams and focused sales people, who are lucky enough to be able to promote some very exciting and innovative ingredients. Their products are sought after for various added value solutions for use within many food application finished products. Because of their leading edge technology, the commercial team is seeing a huge demand for their product range and therefore needs to recruit to continue servicing their customer base.

A technically competent sales person is required to take on this exciting role and continue pushing through development projects to product launch. You will manage the sales activity within your accounts and meet the agreed annual objectives and budget. Success will be judged by the delivery of the objectives outlined in your annual plan and the annual divisional objectives. You will actively work towards successful long term partnerships with customers and trading partners who value your product offering. You will be responsible for achieving profitable sales (at or above budget) and ensure that the company’s brand and values are reflected in all activities internally and externally. Part of your remit will be to maintain awareness of trends and changes in the industry in order to identify and actively create new higher value business opportunities by promoting market led innovations through the NPD group. You will also continually identify and develop strong relationships with Key Customers to create long term win:win success. European languages would be an advantage, but a talented technical ability is what is most required.

A generous salary and package is on offer to the successful candidate and is dependant on experience. This is a role that will suit a new business development focused sales person who is willing to put in maximum effort in order to gain maximum reward!
(€40,000 - €60,000 plus package).
