Young Entrepeneur’s open Blackpool Go Mobile

"Two young entrepreneurs have chosen Church Street Blackpool as the venue for their first business venture."

Twenty-eight year old David Beaver and Twenty-four year old Steven Griffin from Blackpool, has opened Lancashire's first Go Mobile franchise realizing, life long ambitions to run their own business.

They opted for a 260 sq ft unit in Blackpool town centre and join a number of top retailers including Curry’s, Marks & Spencer, Nando’s and Pizza Express. The latest addition to the Town Centre sells mobile phone packages tailored to both business and consumer customers.

David said: "It's a great feeling to be set-up in business after working in mobile phones for other people since I was 17. Church Street is the perfect location for this first franchise with it being right in the centre of the town, with really friendly customers and other retailers and a supportive franchise team."

Nil Naik, franchise manager at Go Mobile said: "We are really pleased to welcome David and Steven to the company. It's great to see experienced, talented mobile phone professionals fulfil an ambition and we wish them all the best in their business career."

David and Steven will look to recruit two members of staff to join them in their new store and already have their sights set on expanding. Steven added: "The support and encouragement I've received so far has been fantastic – I feel a great sense of achievement at having got the business off the ground and I'm looking forward to expanding, recruiting more staff and enjoying the experience of being my own boss."
