Recognising the growing popularity of Halal food, Simply Halal has launched a full range of marinated products to complement its retail pack range of Beef, lamb & Mutton Cuts. The introduction of the Halal BBQ range coincides with Ramadan and the month of fasting.

Roger Carr owner of Simply Halal in Banham, which is the first of 4 companies which have committed to operate from the new European Halal Food Park in Norfolk , said working closely with HMC and NPD services to develop the new value added range of products said "It's estimated there are two million Muslims living in the UK . Now we are able to offer the consumer the opportunity to purchase BBQ meat products that have been produced here in the UK .

The Halal Barbeque range has been prepared in accordance with Islamic law and Simply Halal’s recent success in gaining ‘A Grade’ BRC Status ensures its customers can have confidence in full traceability from farm to fork,

"We know there is a growing demand for’ truly’ halal food so for us it is a natural move to add a BBQ range to our existing range of products."

Muslim’s are definitely becoming more adventurous & experimental in their eating habits so it’s important that both manufacturers & retailers, service the increasing demand of the new generation and their eating habits.

The launch follows recent moves by fast food chains McDonald's, KFC and Subway, as well as restaurant chain Nandos, to offer halal food at more UK outlets.
