New premises for Blackburn food firm

"THE maker of Soreen malt loaf has secured new premises in Blackburn. "

Ireland-based McCambridge Group has taken over 15,000 square feet after signing a three-year deal for premises at Johnson Way, Shadsworth business park.

The firm also supplies mince and fruit pies to outlets across the country.

Mark Carling, sales director at Hurstwood, which clinched the deal, said: “We are delighted to welcome one of the UK’s best-known manufacturers to Shadsworth business park.

“The site is modern and spacious, ideal for a leading food manufacturer like McCambridge to carry out mass production.

"Its prime location means the firm makes delivery easier, with such close access to the motorway network.”
