Harrison becomes Kellogg's UK marketing director
by how-do.co.uk - 09/12/2010
"Kellogg’s has confirmed that Peter Harrison has been promoted to UK marketing director."
He had been covering the role on an interim basis since July, when Kevin Brennan left the Trafford-based firm for Premier Foods.
Harrison was previously marketing controller and in this new job he will be responsible for the company’s £80m advertising budget.
He will report to UK managing director Greg Peterson.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be leading a fantastic team of marketers,” said Harrison.
“It’s a proud moment for me and I can’t wait to get the team moving on some fantastic plans for 2011.”
Harrison joined Kellogg’s in 2001 as senior brand manager after time at Pedigree Petfood and Bass Leisure Retail.
He went on to manage campaigns for Crunchy Nut and Frosties before becoming marketing controller.
