by bfff.co.uk/ - 06/07/2011
"DBC Foodservice has appointed Jo Elder as director of independent and new business sales."
Elder is now responsible for growing DBC’s successful independent sector, and will also leverage new business opportunities with her 20 years’ experience in the catering industry.
Elder will report to Tony Rowlands, DBC’s recently appointed new sales director, and will look after national teams of regional and territory sales managers. Most recently Elder was sales director at Loxtonfoodco which she joined after 10 years at Greencore, firstly as a national account manager and then as sales director for foodservice. Prior to this Elder worked as a national account manager for an equipment and events company.
Chris Horne, managing director of DBC Foodservice, says: “We are very pleased to welcome Jo to DBC at such an exciting time for the business. We are confident that Jo will help to grow and develop our independent and new business sales, and look forward to seeing the financial return that this brings.”
Jo Elder, director of independent and new business sales at DBC Foodservice, says: “I am delighted to join DBC and cannot wait to use my considerable experience of the industry to develop our important independent sector.
“I also hope to be able to open doors for DBC through my contacts in the industry which I have built over the last 20 years. DBC is well-known for its quality of product, consistent value for money and operational excellence and I am looking forward to working together with my teams and our customers to continue this into the future.”
