Closed Loop Foods unveils coldpress juice range in UK

The Coldpress juices range was made using a high-pressure process (HPP) in cold water at around 4°C keeping in the goodness of natural fruit, which extends the shelf life of the juice up to six months, company said.

Each Coldpress bottle is carefully loaded into HPP machines that is then closed and filled with water. The bottles do not get crushed because they are protected by the bath of cold water that ensures all the pressure is distributed evenly.

The juices contain 100% EU fruit without any concentrates, preservatives, sugar, sweeteners or added colours, and retain twice the Vitamin C and other antioxidants than heat pasteurised juices, company said.

The juice range will be available in seven variants including Pink Lady, Golden Delicious, Valencia Orange, Apple & Lemon juice, Apple & Passion Fruit juice, Apple & Raspberry juice and Apple & Strawberry, and is available for $2.07 per 25cl carton.
