Beckham to continue with GO3
by extrafootie.co.uk - 20/10/2009
"David Beckham's latest business venture has left a sour taste in the England star's mouth after just £633 of his healthy microwave meals range 'GO3' were sold last month."
Beckham, 34, was reportedly inspired to create the range after finding it a struggle to get his three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz to eat their greens, but the 12 frozen ready meals have failed to fly off the shelves.
The range, which includes low-fat family favourites such as fish fingers, pasta, wraps and omlettes come in packs featuring the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder's potentially unit-shifting face, but the fast-food fad has failed to catch on.
Beckham cunningly designed the range in order to slip healthy stuff into kids' diets withpou them knowing, and despite the set-back, is still said to be investing other ways to ensure that the brand is successful in the future.
"David is actively pursuing other avenues so his food line can continue," a spokeswoman for the former England skipper revealed.
