Aldi plan to create jobs in the Isle of Wight

"Aldi have hopes of opening a 1,700 square meter supermarket near Cowes, on the Isle of Wight in the UK. It would bring more jobs to the island, and would be the first Aldi there."

BAE Systems the aerospace company are leading the project for a business park.
Plans have been submitted to the Isle of Wight Council, and a 28 day consultation will take place, then the planning committee wil make their decision.

Mike Craddock real estate manager of property and environmental services at BAE Systems said, "This is a landmark agreement and means the food offering on the Isle of Wight is being strengthened further, which is great news for the residents who want to vary their shopping patterns."
